We offer a range of Products from laminate through to real wood flooring
Hard wearing laminate flooring all fitted on superior underlay to ensure years of service
Laminate flooring has four layers: a wear layer, a design layer, an inner core layer and a backing layer. The wear layer protects the floor from stains and fading. Beneath that, the design layer is literally a photographic image of wood, stone or other natural visual. For structural strength, the inner core layer’s plastic resin keeps the laminate stable and flat. The backing creates a moisture barrier that protects the floor from warping. It’s this layered construction that makes laminate floors so remarkably durable.
This flooring gives a happy medium between Laminate & solid Wood, in a range of timbers, Oak, Beech, Bamboo and colours & finishes all fitted on superior underlay and either fitted as a floating floor or fixed either nailed or glued
Engineered wood flooring is built up of layers of wood. It consists of three to ten layers, called plies, that are glued together. This multi-ply structure gives engineered wood superior stability, greater than solid wood, which reduces concerns associated with shrinking and expanding when temperature and humidity change. Engineered wood can be installed below ground level making it a great choice for finished basements.
This will give you years of service with the warmth of natural wood again fitted on superior underlay & either nailed or glued.
Solid wood flooring is 100% hardwood milled from lumber. As a natural material, hardwood reacts to changes in its setting, like moisture and extreme temperatures, which cause solid wood to shrink or expand. All solid hardwood can be sanded and refinished if needed over the years. Solid hardwood is not recommended for installation below ground level or in bathrooms.
